I'm a little Tiger Fan!

Hey...it's me, Emma! This is a pic of me watching my first Clemson basketball game. It's hard to see me, I am in the corner in the red chair. It has the best view of the TV. I loved watching the game with Daddy and cheering on my Tigers!! I'm so glad they beat Duke....they really played well! I can't wait until I can wear my Clemson cheerleading uniform. I bet it will look real cute on me! I also have some rockin' Clemson overalls that I am super excited to wear! I only have to gain a little more weight and I'll be in them. Mommy says I have to wear a bow in my hair when I wear these overalls because she wants everyone to know that I'm a girl. Who wouldn't know that these cute little cheeks belong to the most beautiful girl in the world!!??!! Mom's a little crazy, but I love her!

And the winner is....

Our Baby Pool winners are...

My aunt Mary Jo was the closest to her weight. She guessed 9 lbs. 1oz. and Emma weighed 8 lbs. 15 ozs. at birth. My good friend and high school cheerleading buddy, Kristen was the closest to the day and time. She guessed January 17th at 5:16 am and Emma was born on January 16th at 1:02 am. Congrats to both the winners!!

Weight Check

We headed to the pediatrician this morning for our final weight check. Emma is currently 9 lbs. 2 oz.!! She gained 12 oz. in a little over a week. Yaaaahoooo! She seems to finally be getting the hang of eating and gaining weight. We are still supplementing with formula after most breastfeedings, but we have gone down in the amount of formula she gets. It is so relieving to know that she is getting what she needs and is now "ok!" No more worries about jaundice or weight gain!!! Praise the lord!

**The dress picture- We decided to play dress-up yesterday. Doesn't she look just cute enough to eat!

Look what Uncle Reese made me do when Mommy was in the shower!!

Reese called this the "Al Bundy" pose. Poor child. John Allen said it would be better if she was a boy, but the pic did give me a good laugh!

Some more pics from the weekend

More Visitors

I hate the fact that we live so far away from our entire family, but it was really wonderful to have company this weekend. My brother and his fiance came up from Clemson and my aunt and cousin from Charlotte. We did a lot of catching up, eating, and just hanging out and of course everyone fell in love with little Emma. She was constantly snuggled up to someone! I feel so blessed to have such a loving family and hope to live closer to them someday soon.

***The pic is of me and my baby brother. Yes, Reese, you will always be my "baby" brother!
