Five things I have learned this past month

1. It is nearly impossible to keep a blog updated, work, go to school, prepare for a wedding, prepare for the end of school and keep your sanity. Sorry guys!
2. I need to buy toilet locks. Emma likes to put EVERYTHING in the toilet.
3. I should have hired a different photographer for my wedding. Wish I could do it all over again.
4. Tan fat looks SO much better than white fat. (Even if the tan is only the spray variety.)
5. I love all things turkey. Turkey burgers, turkey hotdogs, turkey chili, and just plain turkey.

School ends in three days. Look for more meatier post to come!

Emma's Favorite Things

I tell ya, every stage is different and so much fun! I am just loving Emma's personality right now. Here are some of her most favorite things....

1. Running to the big window in our house and calling "Daddy"


2. Being outside. Playing in the yard.


3. Helping Daddy practice golf by picking up his golf balls.


4. Feeding herself.


5. Saying "Pees" (please) and "ank yu" (thank you)


6. Opening drawers and cabinets.


7. Turning on the TV with the remote. (Smart little thing!)


8. Dancing and clapping


9. Being a helper. Lately, she wants to help us do EVERYTHING!


10. Brushing her teeth. I think she would do it all day if I would let her. Every time we walk by the sink, she screams to get her toothbrush.

Slowly, but surely, she is turning into a TOTAL Daddy's girl.

What We've Been Up To (with pics finally!)

So we finally got our internet up and running in the new house. The supplies to set up the internet arrived today and I had the internet set up in ten minutes flat. I have been dying to get some pics up on this blog. This will be a short post, but I'm sure there will be more coming soon! (My hubby's in the background and he is dying for me to get off the computer and come help him hang more pictures in the house. )

Em got a visit from her bestie, Baker. They are exactly two months apart and they LOVE to play together!
She also got a visit from her cousins from Maryland.

She got to go to her first Clemson Spring Game.

Grandma Joan and Poke came to visit.

And, we all celebrated Uncle Reese's birthday with a golf themed Masters party.
