The best co-workers ever!

The second grade team rocks! Thanks again ladies!

Rolesville Elementary Baby Shower

My lovely second grade team hosted a baby shower for me today in our school library. Again, I was blown away by all the beautiful gifts for our little Emma. We received so many cute things, including Emma's first Clemson cheerleading outfit and overalls. (Go Tigers! Thanks Kelly and Leigh!) I love my school and the people I work with. If we do get to move, I will definately miss the bond I have created with all these wonderful ladies. A big thanks to all who attended, I can't wait to introduce Emma to all of you!
On a side note, the third trimester tiredness has set in. I had a hard day today. I took my class out to recess today. After recess every day, we have snack and I read to the class from Charlotte's Web. Today I think I almost fell asleep in the rocking chair while reading about Wilbur's trip to the fair. I am planning to get some good sleep tonight, but I guess I will have to miss Grey's Anatomy...tivo is my friend.

More Pics of Emma's Room

Company, Shopping, and Decorating...Oh My!

Mom and Dad Price came up to visit this past weekend. Joan and I enjoyed a day of retail therapy on Saturday while the "boys" watched football at home. We got several nice things for Emma's room and finally hung some things on the wall. We are by far not done, but things are moving along swimmingly! I can't wait to have her room complete. Well I guess it won't be truly complete until little Emma is in it!
School was out on Tuesday and I spent the day preparing our bags for the hospital. We are all packed and ready to go. Now it's just a waiting game...I just can't wait to see our little darling. I wonder if she has my eyes? John Allen's ears? What will she look like? Only eight short weeks or less....hopefully less!

Let the kick counts begin...

We had our 31 week appointment today. Things are going very well. She is right on target for weight and is sounding wonderful (140 beats per minute!) She seems to not be affected by my terrible stomach virus, but I have lost 2 pounds since my last visit. Doctor says that is normal considering I haven't been able to keep much down the last couple of days. They put me on some medicine for the vomiting that made me pass out. When I say pass out, I mean "see you in 12 hours" pass out.
John Allen came home early from work on Tuesday to take care of me, he picked up the meds at CVS on his way in. I took the meds around 11 and didn't wake up again until 8. John Allen said I had been a very good patient, easy to take care of . Of course, I wake up and cannot seem to find my "nurse." While I was "passed out", he had gone to the dry cleaners, liquor store, grocery store, and to get some dinner. I found him on the porch in the rocking chair enjoying a little drink. I think he might need to work on his nursing skills, but he did fix me some rockin' mashed potatoes for dinner. Stickin' with the bland foods for right now!
We also got our kick count instructions at our appointment today. She has really been active these past couple of days! So I am hoping from here on out, we will have no problem getting 7 kicks within two hours. Can't believe that she will be here so soon!

Columbia Baby Shower

We had another wonderful baby shower. We are so blessed to have so many caring friends in our lives. We received so many cute things for little Emma. It was another loaded car trip back to Raleigh. Please pray that things will work out soon for us to move. It is really getting hard to make all the trips to Columbia and Clemson. It is so tiring and long.
Much thanks to Carol and Jane for hosting the shower and for the delicious food and yummy pink lemonade! (my fav) John Allen got to experience his first baby shower. He tried his darndest (??) to get out of going, but we made him go. I think he had a pretty good time! Thanks to everyone that came, it was great to see all of you! We can't wait for you all to meet little Emma Kathryn.

Coming soon...

We have lots of new info to post about, but I have been sick with a terrible stomach flu. Nasty! I am starting to feel a little better and can finally keep some very bland food down. Updates coming soon!
