July Fourth Fiasco

So the fourth started out with a bang and it wasn't fireworks! We spent the first part of the fourth at the pool enjoying some rays and trying to get some sun on my white legs! After the pool, we decided to ride over to Alltel and get new phones. Both of our phones had stopped working. On our way to Alltel, we were sideswipped by a lady pulling out of a parking lot. My poor little car was hurt! We called the police and reported the accident and talked to the insurance company. Needless to say, I was upset. I think part of it was the pregnancy hormones! To get me in a better mood, John Allen went ahead and drove to Alltel and promised me that after Alltel we would go and buy a crib. So off we go to Alltel, we arrive and they are closed! No luck! Off we go to Babies-R-Us. (Second attempt to make me feel better) We arrive and walk to the door as they are locking them up. "We close in one minute" the saleslady says. I started crying in the parking lot! What a bad day! Third attempt to make me feel better, we decide to go to Outback for dinner. That was successful, luckily! We had a wonderful dinner and arrived home just in time to watch the Rolesville fireworks. So I guess you could say that our day started and ended with a BANG!
